RESOLVE CONFLICT CONSTRUCTIVELY
Summary
Executives, managers, employees and HR professionals encounter conflict in many ways, including (a) direct verbal attacks; (b) intervention in conflicts between others; and (c) resistance to their direction. This session will teach you practical, proven tools for effectively handling conflict that comes your way. These tools will enable you to heal rifts, find common ground, and turn problems into opportunities.
Objectives:
- Learn self-control that keeps you from going into “fight or flight” mode
- Learn how to channel hostile energy to a place of mutual understanding
- Constructively confront the “elephant in the room”
- Craft apologies that get accepted versus make things worse

Road trips are fun; organizational change, not so much. Are you driving change or navigating others through it? Are you helping map the direction of change, or are you just along for the ride?
